This document was drafted to describe how the product works. It has not been reviewed by qualified legal counsel, and it is not legal advice. Each section is written to stand alone so it can be reviewed and replaced.
What this service is
Zilli is a private matching and introduction network. It identifies members whose stated currency availability and currency need are complementary, scores how well two requests fit, and lets those members ask to be introduced to one another.
That is the entire service.
What Zilli does not do
- It does not hold funds.
- It does not receive funds.
- It does not transmit funds.
- It does not exchange or convert currencies.
- It does not provide payment accounts, wallets, or balances.
- It does not provide escrow.
- It does not process, settle, or clear payments.
- It does not guarantee any member.
- It does not guarantee that any connection will be completed, or completed as agreed.
Zilli is not a bank, a money services business, a money transmitter, a payment institution, a currency exchange, a remittance provider, or an escrow agent, and it does not act as agent for any member.
What happens between members is between members
When two members accept an introduction, a private connection opens and they may message each other inside the platform. Anything they then agree, arrange, or do is theirs alone. Zilli is not a party to it, has no visibility of it, takes no fee from it, and makes no promise about it.
Marking a connection complete records that two members consider themselves finished with each other. It is not a confirmation that anything was paid, received, or performed, and the platform has no way to verify that it was.
Verification has limits
Identity verification is intended to confirm that a member is the person they say they are. It is not a check of their honesty, their means, their intentions, or their ability to do anything they agree with you. A verified member can still behave badly.
Match compatibility describes how closely two requests line up on amount, location, timing, and currency. It is not a credit assessment, a risk rating, an endorsement, or a prediction.
Your own responsibilities
You are responsible for deciding who you deal with and on what terms, and for complying with whatever laws apply to you where you are. That may include currency controls, reporting duties, tax, and rules about the source of funds.
Zilli does not give legal, tax, financial, or regulatory advice, and nothing on this site is such advice. If you are unsure whether something you plan to do is permitted, ask a qualified professional before you do it.
Regulatory position
The product is designed to sit outside the custody and movement of money. Whether that is sufficient in any particular jurisdiction is a question for qualified counsel and, where relevant, for the regulator in that jurisdiction. We make no claim of licensing, registration, authorisation, or regulatory approval anywhere, and nothing here should be read as one.
